Understand materials, vapour permeability, and the relationship between fabric and performance. Unit 2 Assessing Options for Energy Efficiency Measures Explore insulation, ventilation, and thermal performance. Learn how to evaluate risks and determine appropriate interventions that minimise unintended consequences. Unit 3 Making Recommendations and Giving Advice Develop the ability to select suitable measures and communicate best-practice advice to clients, balancing energy efficiency goals with heritage conservation. The course is taught through a blend of guided study, tutor-led sessions, and practical case studies.
