New Popular Upcoming

Course Overview

Domestic Energy Assessor course will provide successful candidates with the necessary qualification to become a Domestic Energy Assessor and issue Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPC).

What is the difference between the DEA 3 Day Online Training and the DEA 5 Day?

DEA 5 Day Training

The qualification, portfolio requirements & certification are all exactly the same as you join DEA 3 day course. The difference is that candidate will require attending 2 additional days in order to complete their full portfolio.

Most of our candidate prefer 3 day course and like to complete their portfolio themselves with full center support throughout. As it is the most cost-effective way.

DEA 3 Day Online Classroom Training

There is no difference in terms of qualification, portfolio requirements and certification. It is exactly the same City & Guilds qualification either you join 3 day or 5 day course. You will get the same certificate & licence.

The difference is that after 3 Day virtual classroom course candidates will complete entire training, assignments, interactive case studies & software to produce EPC. However they will require completing their portfolio case studies in order to get them certified and licensed.

After training candidate can do their own house, friend or family property assessment to full fill the requirements and complete their portfolio. Each candidate will have on-going mentor support until them up and running.

The portfolio completion depends on the individual leaner. It is expected that a learner completes a portfolio within 1-2 weeks of the class at a regular pace. After successful completion of their portfolio candidate will get their qualification and licence to start the work straight away. BOOK NOW

We also hold (DCS) Direct Claims status with City & Guilds to speeding up the qualification process.

Energy Performance Certificates are required by law as part of the property documents collated by solicitors/conveyancers for every home that is constructed, sold or rented, in England & Wales. Since October 2008 it has also become mandatory that landlords provide EPCs for all tenanted properties. While the Government has scrapped the need for Home Information Packs (HIPs), the requirement for an EPC is still in place and these must be issued by a suitably qualified and registered Domestic Energy Assessor.
