Commercial Green Deal Advisor (New Entrant)

Course Overview

This course is designed for new entrants who do not have a background in energy assessment. During the first 4 days of the course you will learn how to produce Commercial Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) for Level 3 and Level 4 commercial buildings including a live practical survey.

The following two days will teach you the principles of the Green Deal in the commercial sector and also show you how to produce a Commercial Green Deal Advice Report (GDAR) using the latest GD-SBEM software conventions.

There will also be a short multiple choice test taken on the last day of the course. Once the course is complete the candidate is required to produce a portfolio. No hidden costs or additional charges guaranteed.

Requirements, Upcoming Dates & Locations
No previous qualifications or experience is required; however you must have basic computer skills as all assessors must input data into a software program in order to produce the energy performance certificate. The course requires pre-course reading and preparation/assessment prior the required attendance for the training. The course requires a good level of English and report writing skills. Students will need to have access to e-mail and internet at their home.

All learners produce a portfolio of evidence that they have acquired the required knowledge and have carried out 5 properties inspections to the City & Guilds standard for your NDEA portfolio. Also you will need to complete 3 case studies for your GDNDEA portfolio. We will mark your assessment portfolios on behalf of City and Guilds, speeding up the qualification process.
